Chapter 4 The Trauma of Holiness

Well, last week we read about the definition for Holy and how it can be a Fearful Mystery when it comes to our God. This week we see the Trauma of Holiness. I do say this is one of my favorite chapters. I am a few pages in at this point and it really resonates with me, partly because of the anticipation of what His return will be like.

Haven't got any comments lately. That's OK, except I really enjoy hearing your take on things. So if you have the time Post a comment. Good reading!

  1. Not through with the chapter yet, but had to comment. I thought all day yesterday about Jesus calming the Sea of Galilee. Maybe you can't imagine being on a storm tossed sea, but were you here for the Tornado a few years ago? I thought about me running to Christ and telling Him to take cover a tornado is coming. The weird darkness of the sky, the hail and rain pounding like drums, the rushing sound of the wind, debris filled sky, chaos all around and Him staring me in the eye with a calm voice saying "peace, be still". Then its like a Sunday morning run at 6:00AM. Not a sound, except for an occasional bird, not even a ruffle of leaves.
